“Circolo Scandinavo offers a unique and inspiring environment for Nordic artists who need a place to focus on their work and find inspiration. It is possible to apply for one month up to six months, and the application period opens in February each year. Each year over 200 artists from all the Nordic countries apply for residency at Circolo Scandinavo. There are five studio apartments in the residency. The artists also have access to a music studio and a separate working space for visual artists”

Are you an artist from a Nordic country? Would you like to work and be inspired while living in the heart of the eternal city? Well, we have got some good news for you.

You can now apply to be an artist at Circolo Scandinavo through our annual residency program! This round concerns the period between October 2017 and September 2018, and we accept applications between 1.2 and 1.4.

The residency program is our mission: to allow Nordic artists to work for one or two months in Rome, to help you focus on your process and artistic work.
